Happy Substack anniversary! 🥳 Two years: that’s amazing! I’ll be celebrating 1 year in September and have learned (and grown) so much through this process and platform 🫶
I appreciate this newsletter Diane! I think that what I have enjoyed about being a paid subscriber to your newsletter is your authenticity, your generosity of content and your wisdom/insight. I bought your books when I was writing my first cookbooks years ago. I joined this newsletter subscription on recommendation from David Lebovitz because I was curious about what you were doing, as well as how you were using this platform!
One of things I have been thinking about it how well this direct newsletter format will survive. Might be a topic for community conversation?
Aha, someone who came from David's recommendation. Great!
Re direct newsletters, they are the best way to communicate with your readers, because they land in their inboxes. You don't have to wonder if they saw it on social media. So yes, they will surive, Substack particularly, I hope.
Congratulations on your IACP award! How superb to have your huge contribution recognized.

Congratulations on two years and thank YOU for everything you do to help those still learning the ropes!
