I laughed when I read your post about "a particular French bakery." I immediately knew where you'd been. After a four-year absence, my husband and I returned to Morro Bay last week and I also visited that bakery. I went a bit crazy. My stash included cookies, truffles, custard pastries, raspberry cream cheese pastry, almond raspberry cake, three slices of quiche, and cinnamon rolls. And I didn't think I'd bought enough! Also, thank you for the great 3/23 and 3/30 92Y classes! You encouraged me to keep writing the essays I love to write, and I will be starting a blog. I've subscribed to your free newsletter for many, many years, and after those classes I got a paid subscription.
Have a great time! Wish I could go and catch up IRL!
Wouldn't that be great! It's the first time I've gone anywhere since Covid hit.
I'll be there and taking your workshop! Looking forward to meeting you and learning from you IRL.
Excellent, Charlotte! Thank you.

OMG! Someone who knows exactly what I mean about that place. We did so much damage and enjoyed every moment.
And thank you for the kind words about my classes at the Y, and for signing up for the paid version of my newsletter. Much appreciated, Laurie.
